Reflection
This is an area I felt strong in based on my work around understanding equity and issues of poverty; our district's work to recognize, understand and repair historical trauma within the Native American communities we serve, and my belief that all children can and deserve to learn. The recent national social justice movement and conversations about race, racism, anti-racism and privelage have caused me to take a step back and more closely examine my biases leading me to understand that I still have considerable room for growth.
