Reflection
This area is one I have experienced considerable growth in through my coursework both at MSUM and for my masters degree, and during my practicums. I have grown considerable in my understanding of school finance and budgeting but this continues to be a growth area for me. That being said I recognize I have much to learn in this area and feel I will not full understand school finance until actually managing and creating budgets. My work on technology specifically allocating and managing devices especially during distance learning has helped my understanding of the allocation of resources and personal. My background in science and training as a research scientist help me to understand data collection and interpretation. My background in construction and the Deer River High School remodel project has helped me to better grasp the complexities of managing and paying for facilities. I have grown in this area but also recognize I have considerable room for growth which will not occur until I am actually experiencing these challenges.
