Reflection
This is an area I had very little experience. I have grown to understand the importance of the interactions of the superintendent with local and state government along with community and business leaders through my experiences with the IASC Career Pathways Initiative, our meeting with Senator Klobuchar, and my work on the Deer River High School remodel and possible referendum. The importance of relationships with these stakeholders is an essential part of a superintendents role in representing a school district.
